A quick and delicious recipe for Mongolian meatballs that can be prepared in just 30 minutes.

  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, and green onions.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake meatballs for 20 minutes.
  5. In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Cook until thickened.
  6. Toss the baked meatballs in the sauce and serve.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add crushed red pepper to the sauce.
