A delicious and comforting Cabbage Roll Casserole recipe featuring turkey bacon and chicken ham.

  • 1 head cabbage
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and blanch the cabbage leaves for 2-3 minutes.
  3. In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy, then add ground turkey and cook until browned.
  4. Mix in the cooked rice, tomato sauce, and seasonings.
  5. Layer the cabbage leaves in a baking dish and fill with the turkey mixture.
  6. Cover with remaining cabbage and pour additional sauce on top.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the meat mixture.
  • Can be made ahead and frozen for later use.
