  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 cups beef broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion, carrots, and garlic, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in the cabbage and cook until it begins to wilt.
  4. Add the beef broth, diced tomatoes, rice, tomato paste, thyme, salt, and pepper.
