A delicious and easy seafood pot pie topped with Cheddar Bay biscuits, perfect for a cozy meal.

  • 1 cup cooked shrimp
  • 1 cup cooked crab meat
  • 1 cup peas and carrots
  • 1/2 cup celery, diced
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced
  • 2 cups seafood broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 package Cheddar Bay biscuit mix

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large skillet, sauté the onions and celery until translucent.
  3. Add the peas, carrots, shrimp, and crab to the skillet.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the flour with the seafood broth and milk until smooth.
  5. Combine the broth mixture with the seafood mixture, stir in Old Bay seasoning, and let it simmer until thickened.
  6. Pour the seafood mixture into a baking dish and prepare the Cheddar Bay biscuit mix according to package instructions.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit mixture on top of the seafood filling.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add a splash of heavy cream to the filling.
