A hearty dish combining cheesy ranch potatoes with smoked sausage, perfect for family dinners.

  • 2 pounds baby potatoes
  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the baby potatoes, olive oil, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, and pepper. Toss to coat.
  3. Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet and roast for 20 minutes.
  4. Add the sliced smoked sausage and toss to combine.
  5. Return to the oven and roast for an additional 20 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
  6. Remove from oven, stir in the sour cream and top with shredded cheddar cheese. Bake for another 5 minutes until cheese is melted.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add jalapeños or cayenne pepper.
  • Feel free to substitute the smoked sausage with your favorite protein.
