  • 1 pound chicken thighs
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups frozen peas and carrots
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Cook turkey bacon in a large pot over medium heat until crispy, then remove and chop.
  2. Add chicken thighs to the pot and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add frozen peas and carrots, and cook for 10 minutes.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk to form a dough.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough into the simmering broth and cook for an additional 15 minutes.
  7. Serve hot, topped with chopped turkey bacon.
