A deliciously creamy corn chowder featuring turkey bacon and chicken ham for a delightful flavor.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh corn kernels
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup diced chicken ham
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add olive oil and sauté onion until translucent.
  3. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Stir in the corn and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Blend the mixture until smooth, then return to the pot.
  7. Stir in the heavy cream, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Heat through.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with crumbled turkey bacon and fresh parsley.

Notes

  • For a thicker chowder, blend part of the corn mixture.
  • Adjust seasoning to your taste preferences.
