  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup espresso or strong coffee

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
  3. Add the melted butter and mix well.
  4. Stir in the brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture and stir until just combined.
  7. Fold in the dark chocolate chips and espresso.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
