  • 1 pound chicken breast, cooked and shredded
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, sauté onions, carrots, and celery until tender.
  3. Add garlic and thyme, and cook for another minute.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Stir in the egg noodles and cook until al dente.
  6. Reduce heat, add the heavy cream, and stir until well combined.
  7. Finally, add the shredded chicken and crumbled turkey bacon back into the pot, season with salt and pepper, and heat through.
