1 pound ground turkey
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
6 slices turkey bacon
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Take a small amount of the mixture and flatten it in your palm. Place a piece of mozzarella cheese in the center and wrap the meat around it, forming a ball.
Wrap each meatball with a slice of turkey bacon.
Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
Notes
Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
These meatballs can be made ahead of time and frozen.
