A rich and creamy burnt Basque cheesecake made easy in a loaf pan.

Ingredients

  • 500 grams cream cheese
  • 200 grams sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 300 ml heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract, heavy cream, and flour until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is deeply browned.
  8. Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes
