  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 12 ounces lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
  2. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add the broken lasagna noodles and simmer for about 10-12 minutes, or until the noodles are tender.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and ricotta cheese, mixing until well combined.
  5. Remove from heat and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top. Let it melt before serving.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot.
