A delicious and comforting pot pie filled with shrimp and lobster topped with cheddar bay biscuits.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound lobster meat, chopped
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 package Cheddar Bay biscuit mix
  • 1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large saucepan, combine shrimp, lobster, and mixed vegetables.
  3. In another pot, create a roux by melting butter and stirring in flour.
  4. Add chicken broth and heavy cream to the roux, stirring until thickened.
  5. Stir in Old Bay seasoning and garlic powder, then mix with seafood and veggies.
  6. Pour the mixture into a pie dish and top with biscuit mix prepared according to package instructions.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until biscuits are golden brown.

Notes

  • Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
