A delicious vegan twist on the classic French toast casserole, perfect for brunch or breakfast.

  • 1 loaf vegan bread
  • 2 cups almond milk
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond milk, maple syrup, almond butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Tear the vegan bread into pieces and place in a baking dish.
  4. Pour the mixture over the bread and let it soak for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes until golden brown.

Notes
