A creamy and spicy Cajun shrimp alfredo pasta dish featuring savory turkey bacon.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add olive oil and shrimp. Sprinkle with Cajun seasoning and cook until shrimp are pink.
  4. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  6. Add cooked fettuccine and crispy turkey bacon to the skillet. Toss to combine and heat through.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve garnished with fresh parsley.
