- 1 pound beef stew meat
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop.
- In the remaining bacon fat, brown the beef stew meat on all sides.
- Add the onions and garlic to the skillet and sauté until translucent.
- Transfer the beef, bacon, onions, and garlic to the slow cooker.
- Add beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and mushrooms to the slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the meat is tender.
- In a small bowl, mix sour cream and flour. Stir into the slow cooker.
- Cook for an additional 30 minutes, then season with salt and pepper.
- Serve over egg noodles or rice.

- For a thicker sauce, add more flour.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
