Turtle Bars are the perfect combination of chewy, chocolatey goodness topped with rich caramel and pecans. These treats are easy to make and are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. Mix in the flour until a dough forms.
  4. Press the dough evenly into a greased baking pan.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until just golden.
  6. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle the chocolate chips and pecans over the hot crust.
  7. Drizzle caramel sauce on top and return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
